Ateleris develops quantum-related space software in collaboration with the Quantum Technology Group, School of Engineering (HTU), FHNW.

Space missions face a dual quantum challenge: future quantum computers threaten today's encryption, while quantum communication promises fundamentally secure key distribution. Our work addresses both — from flight-ready post-quantum encryption that protects satellite links against "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks, to early-stage exploration of free-space quantum communication using drones and stratospheric balloons as flexible, cost-effective testbeds for quantum key distribution.
